How to make your own Creamy Egg Nog

I guess with a photo like this...
I shouldn't make out like it is a lot of work to do these segments.
I should have dusted flour on my face and look a bit more fatigued.

I brought the farmer with me...
and I didn't even say his name on the segment.
He kept himself busy taking behind the scene shots and was quite happy that he wasn't visible to the world.

I think I will be posting this video clip on the MGCC blog yet before Christmas...
but I'll give you the sneak peek if you haven't already seen it posted on Facebook and Twitter.

Here it is...

  1. Good morning Lovella, your segment on Global was great! I'd be so nervous doing something like that but you were excellent. Or should I say "eggcellent". :) Thanks for sharing your photos and video. Have a great day.

  2. Lovella, I just watched your segment on Global and I am inspired! My daughters use Lactaid milk (lactose reduced) ... do you think that would work? Thank you for giving us an option to store-bought eggnog!

  3. Good Job!!!! I just watched this on fb and you did such a great job. You are so calm and well spoken. It always amazes me at how many people have never had homemade eggnog!! They don't know what they are missing. Cute comments about your farmer!

  13. The next thing I may find on your blog is you cooking and demonstrating at our White House. You have so many fun experiences and opportunities, and you do it all with style and ease, with a quiet farmer behind the scenes, supporting and cheering you on. I enjoyed all your latest posts so much! So happy that you share it all via blog land. Great pictures!
