  2. Brings back memories of living in central Wisconsin and seeing the same thing. Would love to see that here in NC near where I live. We have a large farmers market where stuff is brought from all over NC by the farmers that grow the crops, but it is not nearly as sweet a deal as you have on your post for today...Yummy...

  5. A big bag of peppers for $2..awesome!
    In summer we have a place that sells corn like that..there is corn in a big cart, you help yourself and leave the money in a little birdhouse close by..

  13. I just paid $3.99 a pound for Yellow, red and orange peppers in South Central PA. Green peppers are $1.99 a pound ... stock up Lovella!

  15. I can hardly wait until our local self-serve pepper stand opens. I do NOT love the supermarket prices! Peppers are a staple in my fridge...gotta have them (whatever the cost!).
