Brings back memories of living in central Wisconsin and seeing the same thing. Would love to see that here in NC near where I live. We have a large farmers market where stuff is brought from all over NC by the farmers that grow the crops, but it is not nearly as sweet a deal as you have on your post for today...Yummy...
A big bag of peppers for $2..awesome! In summer we have a place that sells corn like that..there is corn in a big cart, you help yourself and leave the money in a little birdhouse close by.. Word verification is plate..could you please pass me a plate of peppers??
Bring on the salsa! The season is here...love the little store front. When peppers are in season I chop and freeze. Looks like you found a good deal! Kathy (MGCC)
I love those markets. It's so good that we can still trust the majority to drop their coins in those welded metal boxes. Great Prices for Great People.
I can hardly wait until our local self-serve pepper stand opens. I do NOT love the supermarket prices! Peppers are a staple in my fridge...gotta have them (whatever the cost!).
Wish that stand was near to me!!!!
