I take a birthday photo to document ...
another year...
older.
2014 ~ Fifty Five.
It just doesn't happen more than once in a lifetime..
that one wakes up to a beautiful winter wonderland...
on February 23.
Less often yet...
has your country won a Gold Medal in Men's Hockey before your day even began.
If you know me...
you already know I love our flag...
and our country.
I love playing in the beauty of the snow...
and once in awhile...
being on the other side of the camera lens.
Because I can't imagine a more beautiful setting..
there were no grands about to photograph...
And so I grabbed the farmer and we did a little of both.
The rest of the day we were busy making dinner at our friends with a group of good friends for our pastor appreciation dinner.
It was the best birthday.
Thank you for all your loving and well wishes.
I'm so thankful.
I'm so blessed.

You certainly were blessed too!!! The colors -- red, white, black, such stunning photos! I love the one in the field. Thanks for your comments!
