the beauty of black and white

Yesterday it started to rain and I watched the snow drip off the trees...
so these photos are what I wish my yard still looked like.

Our surroundings normally so green and colourful here in British Columbia become black and white photographs.

It's the 23 of December.

What are your plans for today?
I'll make a few appetizers, run out and deliver some gifts and spend some time visiting with dear ones.

all for now...

  1. Things are not always black and white...but it is good to see our world that way from time to time. Enjoy your pre-Christmas comings and goings...and eatings!

  2. Getting the groceries for Christmas breakfast and dinner and finding just a few more things for stockings...
    Nice to talk this morning...

  3. I'm enjoying having lots of laughter and noise in my home today! Some of my college roommates and their families came for lunch today. Tonight Isaac and Ben are having some friends for a sleepover. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Lovella!

  4. The fields and vines (at least I think they're vines) are beautiful in black and white. We kept our snow over the weekend, but it is pretty much a memory now.
Me? I'm getting ready for tomorrow evening's dinner.
