Christmas programs

There is that moment when they spot you in the audience and their performance takes on a new level of joy.

Two year olds and jingle bells.
Even when they are not sure of all the words...
they get their message across of their happy song.

And Away in the manger...
with actions we all learned and still remember.

Even without a flash in the darkened auditorium...
the blurry photos still make me smile.

Be near me Lord Jesus I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And fit us to heaven to live with Thee there.

Amen..

The best seat in the house.

Watching the older kids in the choir do their program.

After the Sunday School program we rushed over to the ballet recital...
and saw the girls dancing to so many beautiful songs...
and saw our special little reindeer prance across the stage with sheer delight.

Children's programs..
it's one of the lovely traditions of Christmas.

  11. Looks like grandparenting just gets better and better.
Thinking we will need to break out our old videos of our kids long ago Christmas programs. They'll do until the next generation can add to the Christmas program fun.
