There is that moment when they spot you in the audience and their performance takes on a new level of joy.
Two year olds and jingle bells.
Even when they are not sure of all the words...
they get their message across of their happy song.
Be near me Lord Jesus I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And fit us to heaven to live with Thee there.
Amen..
After the Sunday School program we rushed over to the ballet recital...
and saw the girls dancing to so many beautiful songs...
and saw our special little reindeer prance across the stage with sheer delight.
Children's programs..
it's one of the lovely traditions of Christmas.

ReplyDeleteWe had the joy of seeing three grands in the program yesterday as well! I came away once again, hardly believing this reality!
Those traditions do warm a grandparents heart. Love that smile and wave from the stage.....too cute! They all had their time to shine.....these days will pass by so quickly....how nice you live close by to enjoy them all.
