Larson Hill ATV Trip

Last Tuesday afternoon we packed up after chores and headed up to Larson Hill for our annual ATV trip with friends.

The scenery is beautiful from the highway and once we take the exit ...

we wind our way down the hill toward the Coldwater river.

This weekend was the beginning of Autumn and the trees were just beginning to be touched with the golden glow.

One by one we arrive and claim our spots closest to the river.

I've been loading photos and will share more of the ups and downs of all that ATV trips include.

Happy Monday!

all for now...

  2. Now that's a note-worthy campfire! Our gang loves to build campfires too - the bigger, the better. :)
Blessings to you today, my friend.

  5. Now that's my kind of weekend! Regrettably, our trailer appears to be parked for the season and we have no quad! However, yesterday we took the opportunity to hike through our local paradise/forest and it was good for the soul! So good, that I think I will return for another stroll, perhaps solo this time so me and my camera can take all the time we need.

  6. Wonderful camaraderie around that campfire I'm sure. I was very interested to see the foliage as I didn't suspect there'd be too much. It looks comparable to what we're seeing.

  7. This looks like a wonderful, fun weekend. I haven't ridden an ATV except at our daughter's house in the field. When we were driving back to Colorado yesterday, we noticed the trees are changing.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Hugs, Noreen
