I saw the moon on our way home last night and thought I should make an effort to take a photo of it...
since it was beautiful.
I couldn't find the attachment for my tripod...
so held my breath and snapped.
Maybe I'll have to look for that tripod attachment and do this more often on a warm summer evening....
even if it is only once in a blue moon.
For those interested my camera settings were
ISO 200 F8 1/200
That's a wonderful photo, Lovella!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the moon at night! Such beauty!

Great shot Lovella! It was big and orange here last night. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to be able to see all the markings on the moon, even when we are soooo far away...God and His creation...Awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe had overcast skies last night, so we didn't see the moon...at least in my city...

Amazing photo! I'll have to be looking up these last few weeks of summer.
ReplyDeleteI did find my tripod and, trust me, yours is excellent with or without the tripod. Must get out my photography book and see what I am doing wrong.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed seeing it these last two nights, coming up so big and round. Made me think of a German song my mother-in-law loved.
ReplyDeleteI always like the way one can see what looks like a button on the bottom of the move with sections radiating out from it. Very cool and very clear. Thanks for the helps with camera settings. I have mine all ready to go and I shall see how it goes tonight!
ReplyDeleteon the bottom of the move? It just makes me wonder what my subconscious is telling me...bottom of the moon, of course... Ha!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing shot, Lovella!
ReplyDeleteVERY cool!!!
ReplyDeleteW.o.w.!
