Strawberry Shortcake

Turning three is lots of fun!
I had heard from a reliable source with a little girl voice with a good amount of conviction...
that she was having a strawberry shortcake party.

She had no idea what that was really.
For weeks preceding the party she would nod her head and smile and say...
"strawberry shortcake"...
to which I would reply...
"really?....are you turning two?"
She would laugh and say...."three".

And so ....
she ate her strawberry dessert...
wore her strawberry shirt...

and opened up her strawberry presents.

There was lots of smiles and excited cousins and very yummy food.

Oh...that every child in the world would have at least one day in their life that would cause them to smile like Kanneloni Macaroni  smiles so often.
