crafting with a four year old

One ...only one.
Babysitting Visiting with one is a whole lot different than visiting with a quorum of grands.
I pulled out a craft suitable for a little girl.
We lined up the candies...
coordinating the colors.

She kept wanting to test them...
but thank goodness for Mommy and Daddy who will "really want to see it looking nice".
She ate the leftovers and let the necklace alone until we dropped her off at home.
I threaded the elastic on a large rather dull needle and tied a large bead at the other end to prevent the "beads" from falling off the other end.
It worked and her coordination got a bit of practice.

It was a good Grammie Day.
I combed her hair and braided it...
twice.

  1. Lots of good skills you're teaching the little one, Lovella. Bet that she had a blast being the center of attention.

  3. Ah, Lovella.

I am learning so much from you. My granddaughter is only 18 months old right now, but I am storing ideas away for the future!

  6. She did well! One on one with the grands is the best for projects...and meaningful conversations. And for special hairdos! Smile.

  7. One on one's are the best. I love how you color coordinated them. My children would of wanted to do string them randomly. Funny how those things are pointed out so early.
