  1. OK Nanook of the North...how much snow did your farm get really?

The snow does look gorgeous and I vouch that your are perfectly within your rights to declare a snow bound day as soon as the last blade of grass is covered.

Tea, soup, baking bread, fireside reading, and a purring cat are all you need for a perfect snowed in day. Frenchie (with her little white snowshoes) has volunteered to head up there to be with you for the day. A saucer of milk will be all that is required of your for her services.

  4. Lovely new blog design, Lovella.

Brrr, that does look very cold! I love the way the world looks so different blanketed with snow.

  5. A friend from down the hill is outside, as I write, ploughing our driveway so that we can get down to the road. Lots of tree limbs down because heavy snow and high winds always mean a big clean up!
Stay cosy at home and enjoy it!

  6. It looks lovely. I like being snowed in too - so snug and cosy. No stress, nowhere to go, no one can make any demands on your time. Hopefully it will snow here again to that extent before the end of winter - theres plenty of time, winter has a way to go yet!

  8. I prepared for snowed in days... looked forward to them.. but it's good enough now to get about and it's funny how plans change ... how other things call you out again. Enjoy your day.
I like the new look of your blog.
