and it begins . . .2010

We are beginning this year with promises of puddles and a good gust of wind.

As long as it's warrants a red warning on the weather channel . . .

I can't help but feel a little bit of excitement.

My Portzelky Frying Pot is already in the shop.

My bag of flour, my carton of eggs, my measuring cup of milk, the new bag of raisins, yeast and container of oil are on standby.

We'll begin the year with a party.

My brothers and their families are coming . . .

and I can't think of a better way to begin the new year.

As far as blogging goes. . . .

Thank you for coming along with me on this journey of what I'm learning.

Sometimes this blog is my journal . . .

and sometimes it's just random silliness . . .

but everyday it is who I am . ..

and the fact that you are willing to lend me your ear . .

makes me feel blessed indeed.

Happy New Year to you and yours.

See you on Monday!

All for now . ..

  1. That wounds like a fantastic family tradition in the shop...but after being in his shop...I'm beginning to think his shop is cleaner than my kitchen....Have a wonderful day.

  6. Have a great time, Lovella! I'll have to pop over to MGCC to have a look at that recipe.
I enjoyed all your Christmas-time posts, even if I couldn't comment on each. I wish you a wonderful 2010 as we wait for the big wind that's headed our way too. I wonder who it will hit first!?
