Spring is here. . really here. .
Blue water coming down from the mountains. .
coursing between the thick moss covered banks. .
. .. still quiet campsites. . with the fresh green yet untrodden plants. .
. . the quiet lake which is biding its time . . .
I hope you have a moment this weekend to pause . ...
from paying bills. .
from trying to shuffle a budget. . .
from the endless commute back and forth to work. .
from the never ending task of minding children. .
from the weariness of your week. .
from the reno on your home that seems endless. .
and have a bit of time free of the pain that your body is giving you. .
from the pain your heart has endured.
I think of so many of you. . .
and pray. .
that your soul will be nourished .. .
and your body soothed . . .
enough. .
to make you smile.
You made me cry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet message and for those lovely photographs.
Beautiful thoughts! Love your photos. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lovella, Sounds like you are experiencing some renewal :0)
ReplyDeleteI love how Spring is so dramatic in our neck of the woods (well my former neck of the woods :0)
Blessings on your weekend...
We all need to retrieve from the business of life and enjoy God's nature. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. Love seeing spring. I miss tulips and daffodils. Love seeing the lake as well. Blessings to you.

Thanks, Lovella. The sun is shining...nature is calling...enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou always get to the heart of the matter and present it so lovingly and gently.
ReplyDeleteReading this post, I can pause and hear the peace and quiet in the campsights, smell the fresh, clean air, hear the gentle lapping of the water....very soothing indeed.
Between the lovely photographs and the accompanying message this was a beautiful post and I will carry it with me throughout my weekend.
ReplyDeleteI will take those words for myself today. I will eat icecream this afternoon with two sweet seniors and reflect a wee bit together on 80 years of God's faithfulness. There is a little fountain by the private patio off the room where they are spending time...it's a nice quiet place. Celebrations can take place anywhere. Kathy
ReplyDeleteSo very, very lovely Lovella.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait for the camping posts!
I wish the same back to you! Looks like you found some nice spots to return to this summer.
ReplyDeleteA quiet, relaxing visit with calming words and exquisite photos...so glad I stopped by. I needed this today, I really did. Thank you! Hope you and your family have an enjoyable weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lovella, you brought tears to my eyes. It's almost as though you are right here with me experiencing each day's trials and joys, ups and downs. Thank you so much for your beautiful thoughts and prayers. You are a blessing to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your special thoughts! I will take that as a prayer for me. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteStay Cozy, Carrie
Yup. Spring just arrived 'round these parts. God is good, for just when I think I cannot take one more rainy/snowy/blustery day, He brings out a day like yesterday. Warm, breezy, and sunny.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, beautiful photography, Lovella, and a lovely blessing.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are unreal!
ReplyDeleteYour words remind me that I am not alone - we all have difficulties in our lives that turn us toward God.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures remind me of God's love for His children and His delight in each created thing. Thanks for the lovely "walk" through God's amazing creation.
