Warryn

What is wrong with this picture?

Yesterday, in the middle of the blizzard, I nonchalantly emailed my grandgirlie. .

asking her for a picture appropriate for a wantedWarryn, the grand massive guinea . . . poster.

I received an email back. .

telling me that Warryn felt honoured with the request . . .

and she even sent three so that I might select his best profile.

Far be it from me to whine and complain. . .
after all he is quite a fine specimen of a weather forecaster and all. . .

but in the future. . .

I won't be so easily convinced. . .and he'll get his lettuce leaf. . .

when he is right about the "no more snow. . .prediction".
At the end of the day. . .
I was one happy girl. . knowing our kids and wee ones were safe in their nests .. . once more.
Party on!!

All for now. . with love,

  1. How funny! After hearing my brother (in Bellingham) complain yesterday about snow shovels and tire chains, I wondered if you had more snow on the ground!

We're looking at a forecast of 80 degrees Fahrenheit here for today and tomorrow - I'll be thinking about you!

  2. Sorry about the snow! Maybe that will give us a few days to try to "catch up" with you on spring. We're to hit 60 today I think. I'm not sure it will really do any good though.

  4. Aren't life's surprises great? They remind us, once again, that we don't have it all quite figured out. And that's enough to make us feel very young indeed! Right. Party on!

  5. Hee, hee! Amazing sight. What's really funny is that my second born called me at 6:40 A.M. to tell me it was snowing at home. I'm headed up there on Saturday. Now the really funny part of that is that this son is never awake and talking in full sentences that early let alone making phone calls. I thought maybe the house was burning down...
    Love the little critter...

  6. I guess nature is telling us that it's not over 'til it's over!
    Great birthday hat!

At least you know this will melt in a bit..where as we will wait and wait..I'm not complaining, just thinking 'hurry up and melt'.
It is supposed to go up to -16 today, how's that for a cool breeze!

  9. Dear me! Warryn sounds like the typical weatherman--seldom right.

Are you SO over February snow?

  11. We are willing to grant Warryn some grace here...he seems like an awful nice fellow...and personally I would relish a bit more snow!

  12. Just when we think we have it all figured out...life throws us a curve. I am not giving any predictions about Spring arriving her either. Some of our biggest snowstorms happened in March. Thanks for the chuckle.

  13. What a shock to our system.
I floated most of the day playing in the snow with my camera...
How fun to play, just like you!
I'm not so sure about Warryn...
