out my ktichen window

The view out my window this time of year is my favorite. The tulip tree in our backyard is slowly giving up its foliage.
The leaves are turning yellow and with it my view is changing everyday.
What do you see out your kitchen window?
Do you have a view?
Walking out my back door and heading through the field and beyond, this is my early morning view.

The fall rye that has been planted in the neighbors berry field is frosted in the early morning.

The tulip tree in the front yard is nearly bare.
This is the view out my front window.
I'm making an effort to listen . . .and learn . . .and understand . ..
we all view things differently don't we?
Some things . . .I'll stand firm . . .
my view won't change . .
don't even bother.
But other things, I hope I'll learn from those I love,
and listen with a tender heart,
and become all that my
Father intends.
I'm thankful for the wisdom that I can glean from others,
for the freedom it brings,
Oh Lord . .make your view
my own.
Have a wonderful day my friends . . . .

p.s. listening with a tender heart is now first and foremost on my mind at present and i am reading a book called ..CAN YOU HEAR ME by brad jersak...he is from your neck of the woods i believe. i am teaching this book to our small group......listening a lost art.....i yearn to become a better listener, not only to the ones who are speaking to me and sharing their heart, but to my heavenly father.........wait........listen.....and hear the whisper of love from our heavenly father.

  5. Ditto to all the comments..you captured some good pics Lovella and I love you sharing from the heart!
What do I see out of my kitchen window? A creek, actually a drainage ditch but doesn't creek sound better? And some back yards and beyond that a field and some trees..now I know that doesn't compare with your view..my view does change with the seasons and I love to watch the birds feeding at whatever I have set out on the deck railing.

  6. Beautiful views where you live Lovella and also in your heart. The view out our front window is of the mountain and it is my favourite this time of year also. Especially on a sunny day like today.

  7. Thanks so much for sharing your pictures and your life with us. I have this soft spot in my heart for farms (maybe because I was born in rural Vermont). Anyway, I'm always interested in learning about how farms work, and how animals are cared for, crops grown, etc. Living in suburbia, I have to get my "farm experience" second-hand.
