only to say . . . .

I really haven't much to say today, I'm cleaning and dusting and wiping up, and yet . . . my mind keeps coming back to you.
As I cleaned my sinks and wiped the brim, I wondered and marveled at the blessing you are. You . . . .yes you, reading this. The sweet little comments that are left simply for the pleasure of making me smile, and you who call and leave a message . . .or you who pops a beautiful note in the mail . . ..doing the things for me everyday, that are so taken for granted . . .. How my life is enriched and fortified simply by being you.

Writing this blog these last few months have opened up relationships I didn't know were possible, and you have made me feel special, imagine that, . . . .just by being you. Today I was impressed by the thought that I need to tell you that I appreciate you, I truly do.

I think in the past week alone, the care and consistency of your love, . . . . ( here I think of my husband)

I'm not a girl who needs flowers . . . .I'm a girl that needs to know that I've met your need.
Thank you for affirming me again . . . .

My world is more special because of your care. Perhaps you are wondering, could she mean me? If you have made an effort to reach out and touch my heart . . . .then yes, and if I could send each and everyone of you a bouquet, I would.
Have a wonderful day, . . . . .
With love

  3. We have never met and you probably have no clue who I am. I grew up in Abbotsford (my parents are George and Karen Schmidt - my dad worked at CBC for decades). I now live down in CA. I came across your blog by lurking on Fiona's blog. I just wanted to let you know that I have been really blessed by your encouraging words and genuine heart.
    God bless you.

  8. Lovella, thank YOU for your loving heart and willingness to share it with all of us. I'm so glad I started blogging, because I've met you, and Julie, and Jill, and Ellen and so many other beautiful women. You've enriched my life enormously. Those flowers, by the way, are amazing. I studied the red and yellow one for a little while, it was hard to believe it is real - just amazing. Look what God has wrought...

  10. Hi Lovella,
It's good to be able to check up on your blog again. I didn't dare take up too much internet time while in Indonesia. I've enjoyed reading about your time with Jill and the care you take to make everyone feel special and encouraged. I wish you a good day too. And Oh, isn't it fun to wait for twins? (Well, the kids aren't having twins, but we are, right?
