Happy Canada Day

Every Canada Day...
the flag that has flown for the last year it taken down...

and the new one is raised.

It is folded ...

and maybe flown a bit more.

Raise it high...

share it with your brother...

always be thankful for the freedom we have.

Thanking God today for the peace we know.

O Canada our home and native land,

True patriot love in all our sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,

The true north strong and free!

From far and wide, O Canada,

We stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

From our family to yours...
Have a most wonderful Canada Day!

all for now...
with love,

  9. What great photos. And what a great idea to fly the flag for a year and then replace it on July 1st so that it never looks tired or faded. Hope you and your family have a wonderful day! Hugs, Carol

  10. No more careful edge trimming and re stitching? I think you have found the best way to get the last bit of glory out of each year's flag. So blessed to know our red and white celebrators to our north are such fine people!
