My name is Lovella… and I'm an Egg farmer of Canada

I'm practising for today's episode on Global Noon News.

That's right…
I've switched up aprons and I'll be making up several amazingly fresh and delicious Egg Nog recipes live!

I went through a few dozen eggs yesterday perfecting the recipe and making the "tester" and "half-done" versions.

There are always a few important points to remember when we visit the television stations but this time I'm not going to be having one of my Mennonite Girls Can Cook girlfriends  with me...
and I'll be talking specifically about Egg Farming in Canada.

Kind of the same...
kind of different.

One thing is for sure...
I better get cracking this morning if I want to stop and see Little Miss Muffet first at her ballet dress rehearsal!

Wouldn't it be fun if I could bring Kanneloni Macaroni with me and have her break the eggs into the bowl (which she does no problem) ?  It just cracks me up thinking about how fun that would be.

Join me... 12:30 PM Pacific Time.

all for now..

  1. That sounds like fun. All the best in your interview. We have an egg farm down the road from us - Coburn's. I'll bet Miss Muffet will be adorable in her ballet rehersal.

  2. I think that would make it fun for everyone! Don't they know that she would steal the show?
Wishing you all the best... no tummy flutters and all that comes with it.

  7. Did all go well? Did you have fun? I think your little grandgirlie would make an excellent sous chef! It would be showing the next generation at its finest!

  8. So I followed the link and learned that it went well and now I have the caramel eggnog pinned to My Pinterest folder for beverages. Perfect! I'm going to try this because we have some eggnog lovers in the family.

  9. Kanneloni Macaroni would have been the perfect sidekick:) She is such a cutie!
Although I'm sure you did just great on your own! You have great 'cracking' humor:)

  10. Oh how cute that would have been to have Kanneloni Macaroni cracking the eggs (as she grabs two at a time with one hand). She would have stole the show for sure but on the other hand so DID you! Great job BTW.
