campsite with a lakeview

It rained...and it poured.  It thundered and lightened!  Crafts in the trailer was a good thing and I was ever so thankful we were not in a tent!  Three hours of entertainment and it was all free!

  2. That was a lot of rain...looks like a flood. Good thing that you were able to keep the kiddos happily entertained. Very good not to have been in a tent.

(My grands first camping experience of the summer was in the tent I gave them for their birthday. They got soaking wet and hated every minute of it.)

  4. Oye! I know you like storms...but maybe not so much when you are on a grand camping trip.

  6. I don't know about 'lakeview' - it looks more like 'in the lake' to me!

  7. Wow, that was quite a thunder storm! I sure would prefer a trailer to a tent as well. Our first, and last, camping trip was in a tent with the kids in Fundy Park and heavy rain all day and night. Then the flu bug struck our son so we left for home and our daughter caught it in the night. lol It's a good thing you had lots to entertain the grands with.
