all caught up

Well...
I'm all caught up on Downton Abbey.
Technically...I missed one episode where the girl was left at the altar.
Our PVR failed us...
so if you can, do tell me what I had missed.
Last evening we watched with the rest of you as the lives of the family and staff changed forever.

Now...I also can warn others about spoiler alerts..
though..I'll be careful to keep the details under my hat.

all for now..

  1. That show really grips you, doesn't it! The characters, costumes and setting - I really like it. Have you watched "Call The Midwife" yet? Another wonderful show!

    1. Kathie, no, I haven't seen that one yet. I am guessing on PBS as well? I wonder how many seasons I/Terry would have to catch up there.

  3. Last night, I wept for the first time. I nearly wept last week, but last night...oh the tissue box was right at hand. Beautifully acted.

  4. Oh boy - I can't wait for Season 3 to come out on DVD as we can't get it here on Sunday nights on whatever channel it is on - sigh! Thanks for not "spoiling". I should watch the first 2 seasons again while I wait - it's just THAT good!

  5. Shoot, we had an unexpected guest last night and I missed seeing it - now I'll have to wait for a rerun or til season 3 comes out in DVD!

  6. I believe season 3 is available today or tomorrow on Amazon. I'm really tempted to order it because I don't like waiting a whole week for the next episode. You'll want to see that episode you missed Lovella. It was another touching one. The photo of the fields across the way is so pretty at the top of this post...

  7. oh...and I like the new background , here. If my sister is still in town I was thinking of taking my computer over to her place for her to help me with a new look on my blog....

  9. I am well and truly hooked on the show and will be adding season three to my collection of DVDs to watch over again as I knit and cross stitch.

  10. Hi Lovella - Call the Midwife was fantastic. it was the first series that I had watched in years and I loved it. It did not have a very long season - only about 8 or 9 epidsodes - but so worth watching. Hope you enjoy.

  12. For some reason, I am not being able to comment on your previous post. So, I will comment here, on the one of your cooking show. I liked seeing your "silent support group". They did a good photography session on the ladies who cooked. Beautiful pictures of each of you! Loved reading how you all enjoy working together, and how you appreciate each other. What a blessing in today's world.
I would like if you did a "chocolate Valentine's celebration" even if I am not a chocolate fan:)

  13. I had read that they are filming more episodes of Call the Midwife. Also wanted to add that if you go to the PBS website you can usually watch the most recently aired episode of a program (such as Downton Abbey) for about two weeks. This is very helpful when you have to miss an episode. :)
