never disappoints

Isn't this just beautiful?
It is a driveway down the road from us...
and I wait for this  all year and it never disappoints.

I was amazed last night as I saw the status proclamations of my Facebook friends.
People are either jubilant...or disappointed with the election results to the south.

I am praying for our neighbours today.
Their country is divided.
May God touch the hearts of the powers that be down there...
may they recognize who it is that makes the sun to rise..
and the stars to light the night sky.
May they remember who it is that is the creator of life..
who has the right to give it...and take it.
May those that believe in God..
seek him for wisdom.

Only God, who knows everything...
can fully know what last nights results will mean to not only our neighbours but also the world which we all share.

What matters most?
God's word says..
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly, to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8

all for now..
with love,

  2. Very well said Lovella. We don't know what the future hold but God sure does. We all need to be praying for God's mercy and grace every day and especially for wisdom for our leaders. Blessings, Pamela

  3. Beautifully and sensitively expressed, Lovella. Our countries were both founded on faith in God and it is what has brought order and stability to North America. We as His people must be obedient and pray daily for our land and our leaders.
