Yesterday I walked out to the garden and waved goodbye to the clouds as they headed north.
I turned to the south and saw the first hope of blue skies for the rest of the week.
In the evening we came home and saw the moon rising above the clouds on the horizon.
We'll be celebrating Mom's birthday today....
and I'm thinking we might be enjoying supper outside with our family for the first time this year!
So excited!
all for now...
Have a great day and enjoy your birthday supper! What are you making????
ReplyDeleteSame here! I better go take out those ribs!
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone - the steak has been marinating since yesterday afternoon - on faith. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're celebrating our oldest grandchild's bday - 10!
Happy Birthday to your Mother!
ReplyDeleteThat moon shot you got is amazing!
So glad you saw those clouds heading north instead of south! Happy birthday to you mom in law....
ReplyDeleteSo glad your plans came to be...and the sun shone on your outdoor birthday dinner! Happy Birthday, Pauline.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was beautiful, and we're promised more for the weekend. Won't that be nice!?
ReplyDeleteEating outside changes the taste of everything. I like the new header.
ReplyDeleteAnd we have another sunny day. I am so gladyou could enjoy your first supper outside...I will have to show you photos of our suppers outside in the month of June...rain or shine, jackets and blankets and we keep enjoying our families.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your Mom, Lovella! I hope the weather stayed nice for you to eat outside on her special day.
ReplyDeleteI stared at your header for a long time and wishes i had some of the strawberry whip cream cake a handful of those ruby red cherries! YUM!
I can feel the joy you must feel. Even though we have the sun, eating outside is not enjoyable now, with 100 degree tempetures and high humidity:)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful time celebrating a special lady, and all she means to each of you.
Your banner picture is beautiful, as is the pciture of the moon.
Did the weather hold for an outside supper? That would be so nice. Either way, I'm sure that you were wearing a grin to say so long to those storm clouds. Hope that they go WAY north.
ReplyDeleteThe picture that you took of the moon is amazing! Hope things went splendidly.....
