Miss Muffet turns two

We were invited to come join our little Miss Muffet at her birthday celebration.
She greeted us with pigtails as though she always allows decorations in her hair.
I made mention of her hair-do and her little fingers gave those elastics a tug and I made great efforts to undo my needless mention.

Her cake was quite Dora-delightful and I smiled when she looked at everyone else to see if we were all properly impressed.

She reached for a red rosebud so I slipped the cake a tad closer so she could swipe...
her sweet "germ-free" finger through the butter sweet goodness.

Her favorite gift was quickly held close to comfort.

Daddy assisted in unpacking those pesky packages that keep children and toys separated.

She thinks she is one of the big kids now.
We allowed her that for her day.
She will remain our sweet cuddly little Muffet for a long time yet.
I don't think she'll mind that much.

all for now...
