The sun rises here just before 8 am. Have you usually been sleeping past sunrises? :-0
I always figured having loads of chickens on site meant you and T. dutifully got up with same, at the sterotypical just pre-crack of dawn. Must have missed the news announcement about genetically modified chickens who slumber reasonably until after the break of day light.
I was just reading a blog where instead of a word or a resolution, the blogger has chosen a photo for the year. This photo would make a wonderful one for that sort of focus...a new beginning. Beautiful! (Why, yes, I did grin, chuckle and maybe even chortle as I created that silly map. How'd you know? ☺)
In January it's quite easy to get up before the sun rises. I had forgotten how dark this month can be! The beautiful sunrises we have had lately are a bonus...a wonderful gift from our Creator.
How beautiful! The sun rises so late now.. I could technically take a photo too ... yesterday on my walk, I saw it glistening on the snow capped mts as it had just come up ... so awesome! And when I got to my friends house she was telling me how she had watched the sunrise. I noticed the sunset yesterday!
Beautiful photo. I love how God paints the skies. We live too close to Mount Cheam to see sunrises however we have a front seat on spectacular sunsets.
Beautiful...I saw a sunrise like that the other day. It always brings me to praise for His wonderful creation and love of beauty!

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, alt 1 works in the comment box until it publishes. Well, I've often thought of myself as a blockhead.

The skies have caught me out on the deck this past week too. Your photo is beautiful. I'm thankful that God included beauty in His creation.
