  3. Caught my attention - I love aprons! I found a great source of lovely kitchen linens (my favourites are April Cornell designs) in Vancouver at exceptional prices. It's a clearing house for 'old' stock. Quality aprons (some with pockets!) for $10-$14. The store is called Rags and Dishes and is at 4213 Main St. (around 25th Ave. and Main) They don't have a website, but you can read about them here: http://www.yelp.ca/biz/rags-and-dishes-vancouver
Definitely worth a visit the next time you're in town.

  5. I have enjoyed your blog so very much and spend
every evening on the Mennonite Girls Can Cook
Website. But, Lovella, I know I will be having a
very difficult time with the new font and probably
won't be reading your wonderful recipes and blog
anymore because it is such a struggle even if I
    enlarge it.
These old eyes of mine combined with a small
screen laptop cannot handle this new format..
This is my truth - not criticism - spoken in
    Christian love.

  6. You are keeping me company again this evening
I would like to say thank you, thank you for returning to the original font. My eyes are also
very appreciated. I am new to the MGCC website and it will probably take me all winter to read
everything but what a great way to spend a long
winter's night feasting on the delicious recipes and
getting to know several amazing homemakers.
I have a copy of The Mennonite Treasury of Recipes
(printed in 1962) that belonged to my mother.
As I get to know you through the various blogs, I
must say that you ladies are also treasures.
