Tinkerbell Cake

I'll have another piece please. . . .
Though I loved the cloud puff chiffon cake that I tested last week, I decided to go for the dark and dense delicious chocolate cake that the Today Show showcased.
Oh . . .it was tasty and moist and tender too. . .
It was rich enough to need a scoop of Vanilla Icecream. . .
and whether you prefer a large glass of cold milk with your chocolate cake . . .
or a cup of strong black coffee. . .
Chocolate cake works.
Maybe not everyone loves chocolate cake. . .but if you do, I posted the recipe on the Mennonite Girls Can Cook blog. . .
The grandgirlie licked her fingers clean .. . and I think I'll be making her this cake again.
Have a wonderful day my friends.

  1. Soooo cute! I'm sorry I missed it, or at least missed seeing the party princess try her first bites of it! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves at the party- can't wait to see pictures!

  2. The cake turned out perfect didn't it? Lil' Miss will treasure that picture for ever, and maybe one day a Tinkerbell and Peter Pan will sit atop her wedding cake. You never know...

  3. Your cake is beautiful!!!! I'm sure it was a fun party. I discovered, after marrying my husband, that not all people like chocolate -- how strange is that?!
