Yesterday was as perfect a fall day as we could possibly get here in late summer. . .
The wind was blowing in a loving manner. . .just enough to allow some leaves to flutter to the ground. The leaves are not seriously starting to turn color, its just the ones who have decided to take early retirement.
I've no time to talk today . . .
I'm making hot dog relish with my mom by love.
When I have it done I'll post it on the MGCC blog. . .
Have a wonderful day my friends . . . . .

  1. Oh my, I love hot dogs with hot dog relish!! have fun...

  2. homemede relish, i love, love homemeade relish. i decided to make it a few years ago and my neighbour came to help....i had soooo many distractions she said it is a wonder you get anything done around here. i was so pleased with the relish i had to taste some RIGHT AWAY!!!! yuck, choke, spit, we didn't rinse the salt....={ ooooh no my relish, sniffle, wipe the tears....from laughter....into the garbage that triple recipe went.....hint, have NO distractions while making anything!!!!!i haven't made it since.

  3. oh i love fall and concur with charlotte that i love, love homeade relish. hope you have fun!

  4. We are so enjoying this sunny, fall weather! Have fun making relish...that's something I have never tried.

  5. Unfortunately, it's still very much summer here...very few leaves ever fall. I do miss the brisk days of autumn in Kentucky. I love relish, especially the homemade variety!

We are safe here from Ike...his path appears to be sweeping around the southern end of Florida and heading for the Louisiana/Texas border.

  6. Hope you have a great day together. Kathy

  7. Oh good Lovella. And a perfect day to be doing so....a cooler sunny autumn day. Have fun!

  8. I must say, I am struck by your header picture. Fantastic and so powerful!!!
But you make relish? Ohmygoodness woman! Is there anything you can't do?
    I vote you Superwoman!

  9. My kids are relish addicts. I've never made my own, but just caught a quick vision of my kids chaining me to the stove to provide for their relish needs. ;-)
Bet yours will be so much better than store bought. Looking forward to your recipe.

  10. Early retirement...cute! Could be my own lawn.

I'll be watching for the relish recipe.

  11. You're inspiring me - I have to get going on my mustard pickles! (My mom in love taught me how to make them)

  12. I forgot to tell you last time how much I like your new header. Looks like you are at the top of the world...beautiful scenery too.
