the dandelion patch

Remember when you were little .. .
and you lay on the grass. . .
and looked at the clouds?
I'm there again.
I don't intend to let the busyness of life rob me of the moments
that are a gift to me.
What will I gain by finishing all my projects today?
What is it that we are growing in our life?
Are we building positive memories that will sustain us during difficult times?
Are we going to be thankful tomorrow for the decisions that we made today?
Yesterday on our date, we just felt so thankful ..
for one another.
Are we just lucky?
Did we just by chance choose the right mate?
Is it because we've made some choices in our marriage to protect it?
These are questions we've asked ourselves recently.
I certainly don't know all the answers but I know who to thank .. .
Thank you Lord for this man ..
who remains faithful to me.
After our date of going out and purchasing a new chair. . (which you'll see soon)
we went to Dairy Queen and celebrated . .
Have a wonderful day my friends.

  10. As Charlotte also said, you are confirming what I've been hearing from the Lord in my own heart recently....slow down, look and see, enjoy the gift of the moment, be still and know He is Lord...be aware, be attentive.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies are new every morning! Amen!

Thank you Lovella for your sweet visit today...beautiful words of wisdom written here...I often just thank God for so many blessings...and I've said time and again..my cup runneth over..I've been this way most of my life I suppose, but just to look upon God's beautiful world, see a new born baby, hear laughter, see color, flowers, hear music.I often tell my husband how thankful I am that God placed him in my life...I'm with you...I don't know the answers but I truly know who to thank for it all...A beautiful post my new friend...
