night snow

I love the first snow of the year.
It is a forever memory of our engagement.
Perfectly frosted boughs.
I couldn't resist a few pictures at night . . .knowing that in the morning it could be gone.

I would love to add to my first snow celebrations . .

I hope you have a wonderful day.

  6. How pretty! Snow seems a long way off yet, down here in the Midwest. I'm sure it really could happen at anytime though.

  7. Oh, I did enjoy the first snow... we too took pictures...the trees were sooo beautiful... I love the lace look of the barren trees in contrast with the snow laden everygreens...
I was sorry it was gone from the trees this morning ...still on the ground...but we can look forward, I'm sure,to repeat performances!!

You got engaged when it was snowing?? How romantic!! Vic asked me to marry him under a lilac bush -- in bloom...

(sorry, I should clarify that ..He proposed under the lilac bush..he didn't aske me to marry him under one!! smile)

Have a wonderful day too, Lovella

  8. Party at our house too celebrating the snow. We had dinner by candle light and all the lights off to watch the snow and when I went to bed, I slept with the blinds open so I could look out at the snow frosted branches any time I woke.

We first held hands in the snow - with mittens on :)

  12. As I am waiting, I am just checking out my favorite blogs.
I thought that we'd all sort of have some of the same images as we are all excited about the first snowfall.
    It's so beautiful!

Took a walk with Lora last night in the snow to Starbucks and sipped on our favorite gingerbread latte's

  15. Yes the snow was beautiful, with Christmas lights glowing from underneath it. The kids were disappointed though to see it gone this morning. I hope they will get a snow day or two this season.

  22. I went to Bellis Fair that night not truly believing it was going to snow. When we came out of the mall, it was a winter wonderland! Needless to say, it was a slow drive home, but very pretty. Zero Avenue had so much snow I felt like we were in Alberta!
