I love the first snow of the year.
It is a forever memory of our engagement.
Perfectly frosted boughs.
I couldn't resist a few pictures at night . . .knowing that in the morning it could be gone.
I would love to add to my first snow celebrations . .
I hope you have a wonderful day.
It's so beautiful!ReplyDelete
Here on the other side of the country, we're having record high temperatures. 12 C on Nov. 27th!
Maybe there will be a snow angel later...
Ooooh...so peaceful and pretty. I love being outdoors at night during a snowfall.ReplyDelete
Very pretty..I love snow!ReplyDelete
We had snow too but our snow isn't going anywhere..it was -26C this morning!
Need to add this...it is -34 with the wind chill factor!!ReplyDelete
How pretty! Snow seems a long way off yet, down here in the Midwest. I'm sure it really could happen at anytime though.ReplyDelete
Oh, I did enjoy the first snow... we too took pictures...the trees were sooo beautiful... I love the lace look of the barren trees in contrast with the snow laden everygreens...ReplyDelete
I was sorry it was gone from the trees this morning ...still on the ground...but we can look forward, I'm sure,to repeat performances!!
You got engaged when it was snowing?? How romantic!! Vic asked me to marry him under a lilac bush -- in bloom...
(sorry, I should clarify that ..He proposed under the lilac bush..he didn't aske me to marry him under one!! smile)
Have a wonderful day too, Lovella
Party at our house too celebrating the snow. We had dinner by candle light and all the lights off to watch the snow and when I went to bed, I slept with the blinds open so I could look out at the snow frosted branches any time I woke.ReplyDelete
We first held hands in the snow - with mittens on :)
We had our first snow a week or so and it was so beautiful. But then by late morning it was gone. The pictures are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.ReplyDelete
Beautiful pic's! We still have snow this morning...but it's getting a little soupy out there. So it's -34 in Manitoba? Ouch! What would that feel like? I'll take this.ReplyDelete
Looks like you got a little more there than we did here in the city. The snowflakes were big, huge, fat ones, just beautiful! Ready for more?!ReplyDelete
As I am waiting, I am just checking out my favorite blogs.ReplyDelete
I thought that we'd all sort of have some of the same images as we are all excited about the first snowfall.
It's so beautiful!
Took a walk with Lora last night in the snow to Starbucks and sipped on our favorite gingerbread latte's
oh how i love the trees heavily laden with snow or better yet that beautiful frost. how romantic to remember your engagement with the first snowfall, may your day today be filled with wonderful memories.ReplyDelete
Beautiful pictures of snow! I love that first shot especially. I think I've seen it snow about three times in my entire life....but I can pretend I am there and imagine how wonderful the first snow would be.ReplyDelete
Yes the snow was beautiful, with Christmas lights glowing from underneath it. The kids were disappointed though to see it gone this morning. I hope they will get a snow day or two this season.ReplyDelete
As everyone in blogdom keeps dropping by, making casual comments, hoping for an update on grammiehood....ReplyDelete
So lovely. It will be interesting to see if we get snow tomorrow night. Enjoy...ReplyDelete
I live in northern AZ and we may or may not get snow...so thank you for sharing the photos of your first snow! They made me smile! : )ReplyDelete
It was beautiful while it lasted!! You got some great pics!ReplyDelete
This is the day that The Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. God gives us so much to enjoy in His creations. KathyReplyDelete
I said 'yes' to my husband just as snow started to fall many years ago as well! Ah... great memories :)ReplyDelete
I went to Bellis Fair that night not truly believing it was going to snow. When we came out of the mall, it was a winter wonderland! Needless to say, it was a slow drive home, but very pretty. Zero Avenue had so much snow I felt like we were in Alberta!ReplyDelete
