flying

This pretty well describes me on several different levels right now.
I'm flying high on the honeymoon stage of a fresh off the press book.
I'm flying by the seat of my pants doing interviews with magazines and newspapers I never knew existed.
I'm flying back and forth between emails checking and double checking arrangements.
I'm flying through housework and for the first time that I can remember noticed the breakfast dishes were still on the counter to visit with the lunch dishes when they arrived there.

Next week .. .
things will begin to calm down.

Today we have a book signing in Chilliwack at Grandpappy's Home Furniture.
We have our second Mennonite Girls summit on Friday. . .
followed by local book signings on the weekend and Monday.

Is it really Mother's Day weekend too?

All for now. .

  2. Oh dear! Who planned that for Mother's Day? Perhaps you can all have a redo like the sitcom I watched last night.

Bookstores are closing around here like crazy. There's a Borders left in Portland. Our local bookstore is in danger of closing. Times are tough down here. If I knew of anything I could do locally, I sure would. Guess that I'll just chat you gals up as I can on my blog. I love doing it!

Is the book available down here in Lynden, or surrounding area?
